THE Magpies battled past the challenge of Gosport Borough with goals in each half.
Dorchester opened the scoring after 44 minutes when Tiago Sa’s cross-cum-shot deceived Borough goalkeeper Pat O’Flaherty and sailed into the top corner. Gosport carved out an instant equaliser when Dan Wooden tapped in following a lightning break.
The Dorset side had a goal disallowed early after the break when Emile Ngoy was judged to be offside when he headed in a cross from on-loan striker Olaf Koszela who then broke away on his own to win...
