National League respond to clubs’ angst

THE NATIONAL League has told its clubs they will keep the payment schedule of the Government’s £10 million rescue package under constant review and have formed an “independent review sub-committee” of the board.
The 66 member clubs received their first payment last week with clubs in the topflight receiving £95,000-permonth or £84,000 while at North and South some payments are £36,000 with the majority collecting £30,000-per-month.
