■ THREE goals all created by Lynton Goss enabled Thame United to progress.
The first two were scored by Ryan Blake before the head of Kieran Douglas met a freekick to see Winchester reduce the deficit.
Dan West restored Thames’s two-goal lead, but a Simba Mlambo header again reduced the defcit.
In the final 20 minutes, both teams had chances but in the end it was Thame who booked their place in the next round to host Lymington.
