A TIE that often looked as though it could go to penalties was, in fact, settled by a spot-kick.
Dunston won through via a 55th-minute penalty after Liam Thear had been brought down by Donae Lawrence and Terry Galbraith made no mistake.
It was a game of limited chances, with the Reds’ best move of the firsthalf ending with a superb goal-saving tackle from Ursene Mouanda in the sixyard box as Charlie Bowman moved in for the kill.
