MARGATE finally overcame a hardworking Beaconsfield Town with two good goals.
The first half finished scoreless with the visitors having the best chance when Sydney Ibib had a clear sight of goal, but Pat Ohman saved well with his legs.
Margate finally took the lead after 73 minutes when Crossley Lema made the breakthrough. Lema superbly brought down a long ball on the right, surged into the area and hit a fierce shot into the net, giving the keeper no chance.
