■ WORKSOP TOWN came out comfortable winners thanks to a brace from man-of-the-match Liam Hughes.
Hughes struck in each half to help the visitors through to the next round of the cup.
The first half saw Worksop race into a two-goal lead through Hughes and then Josh Wilde. John Murphy then scored a goal for Cables after some good one-touch football.
The second half saw Cables pile on the pressure and Jack Goodwin, Adam Hammill and Murphy all had chances to equalise.
