BRISTOL Manor Farm were playing their best stuff in this competition so far this season but had to weather an early storm.
Ben John twice denying Gosport as a goalmouth scramble almost gave the visitors an early lead. Teenager Evander Grubb had Farm’s first meaningful chance. His effort was diverted off the line after his neat chip beat goalkeeper Patrick O-Flaherty. The home side thought they were getting a golden chance to take the lead before half time, but the referee’s penalty decision was overruled by his linesman...
