CHELMSFORD CITY won in the trophy for the first time since 2019 as they progressed past Southern League outfit Redditch United.
City dominated the early exchanges and could have taken the lead inside three minutes when Simeon Jackson’s header hit the bar. City scored after 12 minutes when a cross from the left was volleyed into the net at the second attempt by Jamie Yila.
