LOWESTOFT Town and New Salamis produced an eight-goal thriller at the Fosters Solicitors Community Stadium.
The Trawlerboys ran in three goals in the opening 16 minutes, with Sam Johnson netting twice and Jake Reed pouncing on a goalkeeping error.
Salamis reduced the arrears with a Derek Asamoah penalty and a crisp volley by Panny Boxer. Adam Hipperson then added a fourth for Lowestoft, but the visitors again fought back with another Asamoah goal on the stroke of half-time.
