■ MOSSLEY bowed out at the first time of asking, going down to Vauxhall Motors on a tough day at Seel Park.
The Lilywhites started brightly, creating several chances, but the game changed in the 18th minute when Jack Grundy was shown a red card for a foul when he was the last man.
Mossley defended well in the first half, but the pressure took its toll in the 56th minute as Michael Burley volleyed an excellent effort into the bottom corner.
