■ VISITORS Alvechurch advanced to the next round thanks to victory which ended Anstey’s first-ever campaign in the competition.
The first half had little action for 40 minutes. That was until Lewis Gibbens brought down Ben Cassidy in the area, handing Alvechurch a penalty which was converted by Jannai Gordon.
However Gordon later saw red for his part in a fight between the two sides. In the second half neither was able to provide any real threat, though the hosts did have both centre-backs joining the attack towards the end.
