GOALS from Mike Calveley and Jack Sampson were enough to take Chorley into the fourth round of the Isuzu FA Trophy at the expense of a lacklustre Blyth Spartans.
Neither side started the match particularly brightly in what were extremely tricky playing conditions and it took up until the 28th minute to find the first real opening – Sampson excellently spinning away from his man on the half-turn but was crowded out by a crowd of Blyth defenders.
