■ JAMES O’Neill’s second-half strike was enough to see Stafford Rangers past Long Eaton United and advance to the next round.
The goalmouth action took its time to arrive, but arrive it did after a tentative first period.
Getting the goalscoring underway, Sean Cooke was the man with the final touch in a scramble to open the scoring between himself and Joe Mwasile in the 48th minute.
That goal only seemed to awaken the hosts, however, who equalised just four minutes later, courtesy of James Taylor’s effort.
