RAMSGATE bravely held on with 10 men to record a win at home to Raynes Park Vale.
The visitors missed a glorious chance to take the lead when George Vincent somehow nodded over from close range before Joe Taylor put the Rams in front with a cracking left footed volley.
The hosts doubled their lead through Lewis Gard’s emphatic finish following good work by Taylor after 35 minutes. Vale started the second half strongly, and were back in the game when Jay Leader glanced a long throw in to his own net in the 51st minute.
