THE tie between Sporting Khalsa and Nantwich Town was postponed after several delays due to bad weather.
Consistent torrential rain and thunder and lightning overhead initially saw the kick-off delayed by 15, then 45, then 55 minutes.
The decision was made at about 3.25pm to postpone the game until Tuesday evening. This left a bitter taste in the mouth for some, as it became clear other games in the local area were playing through the conditions which appeared to be improving.
