MATT LONGHURST is back in the East Grinstead Town hot-seat – less than two weeks after leaving it! The boss quit the Wasps to take up the assistant manager’s job at Ryman South rivals Hastings United.
But it took just 12 days for Longhurst to realise he’d a mistake and he’s been welcomed back with open arms.
“Hastings is a fantastic club with great supporters, board, players and management team and I thank them for the opportunity,” he said. “However, at this stage in my career, I decided I need to be a manager and cannot wait to get back to work.
