IF the FA Cup is your wedding, the FA Trophy is a milestone birthday, then the FA Vase is the house party at your mates’ when the parents are away.
Frankly, it’s the best shindig in town. Of course, the others are great. Brilliant memories no one will ever forget. The build-up is pretty special and the formality throughout the whole day lets you know you’re part of something special. The Vase has that too, but it also has that…something extra.
