MIDLANDPremier side Coventry United came from behind to avoid an FA Vase shock at dogged Droitwich.
Coventry took 20 minutes to truly threaten as Shaq McDonald fired straight at Droitwich keeper Matty Oliver and Jake Holt fired wide moments later.
It turned into one-way traffic as Scott Hammond’s overhead kick dipped inches over the bar and McDonald prodded wide.
But West Midlands Division One outfit Droitwich dug in and went ahead as James Lemon capitalised on poor Coventry defending to beat United keeper Brendan Bunn.
