NEITHER goalkeeper lasted 90 minutes in a madcap tie – and the Midland Football League rivals will do it all again on Tuesday.
Sphinx lit the blue touch paper with a goal inside 10 minutes as Leigh Phillips tucked away after a cross from livewire Chris Sterling, who was then upended by Khalsa keeper Sam Arnold with the stopper being sent off.
But Khalsa levelled within four minutes as Lee Chilton’s longrange free-kick caught out Coventry stopper Richard Obimpeh to restore parity.
