DANIEL Moore’s first half strike proved enough to send Shildon through to the FA Vase Second Round at the expense of Glasshoughton Welfare.
Moore converted Matty Robson’s low cross at the back post to put the Railwaymen ahead after a dominant first half-hour in which the visitors struggled to retain possession. Robson could have doubled the lead from the penalty spot on the hour after Danny Earl was brought down by Reece Horne, but he struck the post to hand Glasshoughton a lifeline.
