RONNIE Jones scored a brace to inspire Bedlington Terriers to thrash former FA Vase winners Whickham at Welfare Park.
The visitors went ahead early when Lewis Teasdale raced through on goal and slotted into the bottom corner on six minutes.
Cameron Fenton’s low cross was turned into his own net by Matthew Grieve on 34 minutes before Jones scored his first of the game to put the Terriers ahead at half-time.
