SPORTING Khalsa may have edged this contest but the blustery wind was the real winner, hampering both sides in a hard-fought encounter.
There was little to shout about in the opening period and it was visitors Winsford who had the pick of the few chances when Sam Marshall put his shot wide when well placed.
With six minutes gone of the second half, Khalsa scored what was to prove to be their winner.
Lee Chilton floated over a corner and Dan Westwood was left unmarked to head beyond the Winsford keeper.
