LYE Town booked their place in the third round with victory over lower-ranked Brocton but needed two late goals to finally kill off their battling visitors.
Lye made the perfect start when Joe Lawley fired them into a second-minute lead after latching on to a Josh McKenzie pass.
It took the home side until the 65th minute before they added to their tally but they did so in style with Jack Till latching on to a pin-point 40-yard pass before thumping his shot past the keeper.
But the visitors responded well and reduced the arrears when the Lye defence fail...
