AFC UCKFIELD produced a fine second-half display to overcome Walthamstow.
The hosts took the lead after ten minutes when Ollie Fortune headed home a freekick from Billy Jones.
Phil Hawkins then produced a superb double save to keep the score at 1-0, first denying Callum Ibe and, on the rebound, Dwade James.
Walthamstow went into the break having rarely been troubled, but were given a rude shock five minutes after the break when Dean Okosie fired into the net from an acute angle.
