Longridge win 6-5 on penalties
PENISTONE Church’s day of firsts ended in heartbreak as Longridge continued their recent good Vase form with Dan Gray’s winning shoot-out penalty.
The Northern Counties East side, in the second round for the first time, were also playing behind closed doors for the first time, with the away tie switched to the Memorial Ground.
And they came from behind to force a penalty shootout against a side who reached the last 16 last season.
