CHEADLE TOWN deserv- nedly progressed.
It was Barton who took the lead on 20 minutes when Chris Spinks scored.
Cheadle’s midfield playmaker Thomas Murray caused Barton problems all afternoon and it was no surprise when Cheadle equalised through Patrick Davin.
Two minutes later Cheadle led with a well-taken Callum McGlynn goal.
The second half saw Cheadle continue to dominate the game and they soon increased their lead on 48 minutes with a fine goal from Ryan Usher.
Barton pulled a goal back on 75 minutes through Ben Hinchliffe.
