STOURPORT Swifts the FA Vase third round after a goal in each half was enough to beat Loughborough University.
The hosts, who sit second in the Midlands Premier, took a 17th minute lead when a quick one-two move was finished off by Lee Chilton.
The Loughborough keeper Samuel Smith kept them in the match on 23 minutes denying a goal bound effort with his outstretched leg.
However, he was helpless when the Swifts doubled their lead on 59 minutes after a quick counter-attack resulted in Jack Watts cutting in and firing home. The Scholars were rewarded for their efforts...
