SAM SHAW’S stunningstrike proved the highlight as Harefield saw off neighbours North Greenford United to advance into the fourth round.
Shaw produced a perfect lob from 30 yards out over Blues keeper Sam House in the second half.
Shaw had come up with the assist for the hosts’ opener, playing in Trey Pender-Brown, who struck a fierce drive beyond the keeper.
The opener came after North Greenford’s Perry Price striking the woodwork and the visitors were close again when Christopher Martin-Thomas headed wide when he should have scored.
