STEVE Butterworth has taken over the manager’s hotseat at East Thurrock United.
The former Great Wakering Rovers boss has made to switch to Rookery Hill after leaving Essex Senior League side Romford.
As a player, Butterworth was a highly rated, free scoring wide attacker and enjoyed time with Newport County, Hornchurch, Carshalton, Harrow Borough, Dartford, Kingstonian, and Brentwood, before finishing his playing career at Great Wakering Rovers.
