TONBRIDGE inflicted a heart-breaking defeat on struggling Hendon with a disputed late winner.
It was a massive win for the Angels, who moved back up to fourth and a massive loss for the Greens who remain deep in relegation trouble.
Hendon led on 13 minutes when Matt Ball converted a penalty after Reis Stanislaus was fouled in the penalty area.
Tonbridge’s best effort was a shot from Vas Karagianis, which was well saved by Greens keeper Tom Lovelock at his near post. Karagianis also curled two free-kicks over the crossbar.
