ENFIELD TOWN moved into the play-off places and dealt Billericay’s play-off hopes a blow, halting the big-spending hosts’ recent good run in front of a crowd of over 1,200.
The game was barely under way when Enfield took the lead, Percy Kiangereni heading in from close range after Karl Oliyde was denied.
Billericay appealed for a penalty when Mark Kirby appeared to handle Jake Robinson’s cross, but they equalised on 13 minutes when Joe Ellul headed Robinson’s next cross into the net.
