HENDON pulled off their great escape when this draw gave them 22 points out of the last 30 to finish one place above safety.
They made a great start when Sam Murphy’s 25-yard shot was brilliantly saved by Swans keeper Jack Turner.
But two minutes later Staines’ Mo Bettamer smashed the ball into the bottom corner giving Greens keeper Tom Lovelock no chance.
In the 11th minute Lovelock saved another Bettamer effort. But Hendon had most of the pressure and most of the chances.
