SHAUN HARRAD admits it wasn’t an easy decision to turn down Torquay United boss Kevin Nicholson’s offer for him to be a playercoach at the Gulls, but says it’s time for him to be closer to his family home.
The 32-year-old, who won the Conference with Burton Albion, started last season at Wrexham and finished it helping Torquay beat the National League drop.
Geography and family reasons mean he wants to be nearer his Nottingham home – and he wants to keep lending his experience.
