BOSTON UNITED grabbed the local bragging rights and booked a Lincolnshire Senior Cup final place in the process by seeing off a young Grimsby Town side.
The scoreline could have been very different had Grimsby’s Michael Davies not seen his first-half penalty saved by Boston keeper George Willis.
