CARMARTHEN Town warmed up for the new Welsh Premier League season with a smashing 5-2 victory over Nathaniel Car Sales Welsh League Division One outfit Port Talbot Town.
Liam Griffiths was at the double for the Old Gold while Liam Thomas, Tyler Brock and Matthew Thomas were also on target.
Jack Hurley and Remi Whitlock pulled goals back for Port Talbot but it wasn’t enough to salvage a result.
Cardiff Met also picked up a useful 3-0 victory over Merthyr Town.
