GENUINE goal-scoring opportunities were few and far between at the Hive as the Bees narrowly defeated a young Fulham outfit.
Barnet started brightly with both full-backs lending support to the attack and in only the fourth minute Shaq Coulthirst forced keeper Tony Stahl to parry his shot away for a corner Fulham’s first effort of note came in the 21st minute when England U21 striker Cauley Woodrow surged forward with Mark Cousins doing well to keep out his goal-bound effort.
