HONOURSended even in this local derby friendly at Cressing Road in a game lacking the usual passion between these two arch-rivals.
Both sides used a host of trialists during the game which as a result saw little cohesion on either side with City having the stronger play in the first period and the Iron dominating most of the second.
Goal chances were few and far between with City’s Rhys Murphy going close with a header in the first half and Iron’s Billy Crook firing wide early in the second half.
