JOE IRONS OUT A MACC MOVE

ENGLAND C ace Joe Ironside is the latest player to make the move into the Football League after signing for Sol Campbell’s Macclesfield Town.
The highly-rated Kidderminster Harriers striker turned down interest from a number of Football League and National League suitors to sign a one-year deal with the League Two Silkmen. Ironside, 25, made 16 appearances for Sheffield United before gaining valuable loan experience at FC Halifax Town, Harrogate Town, Alfreton Town and Hartlepool United.
