FIRST goals for the club from Panos Katsamagkas and Corey McKeown gave Blyth victory at Dunston. Both goals came in an entertaining first half with Blyth playing a host of trialists in the second period.
Spartans had the lead on the quarter hour - and Panos will not score a simpler goal. Olly Scott’s deep cross was headed across by Robbie Dale for the Greek to tap home.
Scott Heslop twice went close to an equaliser within a minute. An error from Dunston keeper Liam Connell at his near post saw Mckeown doubled the lead with a low drive.
