STOCKPORT County began their preparations for life in the Football League with a convincing victory at Nuneaton Borough.
County were ahead on 23 minutes with Mark Kitching seeing his rifled effort take a deflection before flying into the net.
The visitors doubled their lead on 28 minutes with Connor Jennings winning an aerial duel with goalkeeper Tony Breeden and bundling the ball home.
The Hatters were out of sight with a third goal on 33 minutes. Scott Quigley found Will Collar, who slammed his effort into the net.
