BOTH teams, nearly men for promotion last season, put in a commited 90 minutes in sweltering conditions to produce an entertaining game.
National League playoff finalists Solihull Moors took the lead on 14 minutes as Ryan Barnett delivered a perfect cross that a triallist steered home beyond Brackley’s keeper Danny Lewis.
