JAY LOVETT and his management team were this week sacked by Burgess Hill Town – just hours after leading them to derby success.
Lovett, the for mer Plymouth Argyle, Brentford and Crawley Town defender, was axed with the Hillians lying 16th in Isthmian South East, one point above the relegation play-off places.
The for mer South Park boss had been in charge at the Green Elephants Stadium since November 2019, leading the Sussex club to an eighth place finish in his one and only full season of his Covid-affected reign.
