NEW Solihull Moors boss Andy Whing got a first glimpse of his new charges but it was visitors Birmingham City who ran out victors.
Whing, who named three trialists in his starting lineup, will have been pleased with his side’s efforts. Moors battled well, held their shape and kept Blues at arm’s length for the most part. The Blues controlled the first half and that they didn’t go into the break leading by more than a single goal was down to Moors’ trialist goalkeeper.
