STRATFORD Town came from behind to claim the spoils against a Spalding side who just missed out on joining the Bards in the Southern Premier Central in last season’s play-offs.
It took the visitors just three minutes to make their mark, Sam Warburton rifling the ball into the roof of the net from 25 yards after Jimmy Clifton had helped on a long throw.
But the lead lasted just seven minutes before Charlie Williams fizzed a freekick through the wall and past keeper Tony Breeden.
