HEARTLESS thieves have stolen medals belonging to tragic Highgate United player Tony Allden, who died after being struck by lightning 50 years ago.
The medals were among several items that were stolen during a burglary at the home of Tony’s sister Christine Mills in Coleshill, near Birmingham, just days after she helped his widow Sue May rededicate the Midland League Premier Division club’s stand in his memory.
