A FEW weeks ago, you ran an article about the concerns raised by Barrow manager Paul Cox about the quality of referees in Non-League football.
If you get a chance, check out Barrow’s equaliser against Tranmere Rovers in their National League fixture on the night of March 7.
A free-kick into the box appeared to be comfortably dealt with by Tranmere’s keeper Scott Davies, only to be felled by a Barrow player.
Naturally, Davies drops the ball and Barrow score. The goal should never have stood, but not a word of complaint from Paul Cox! Oh the irony.
