IAN POTTS has been appointed caretaker manager of relegationhaunted Wessex Premier outfit Cowes Sports until the end of the season.
The move follows the departure of boss Richie Woodburn after Cowes lost 6-0 to Portland United last Saturday. Potts had been Woodburn’s assistant.
A club statement said: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank Richie and his family for all the hard work and commitment they have given to the club throughout his time at Westwood.”
