FORMER Gosport Borough physio Rae Hughes has been unveiled as the new manager of Sydenhams Wessex Premier outfit Bemerton Heath Harlequins.
This season, Hughes has been running rivals Downton and led them to a mid-table finish.
The 35-year-old former Salisbury City secretary will succeed former boss Graham Kemp, who fired a parting shot by appealing for more local players to join the club.
He was chosen out of around a dozen applications for the vacancy, and has been given the task of keeping the club at the top end of the table.
