■ SALTASH UNITED piled on the pressure on leaders Tavistock on another thrilling day, as they won 3-0 at lowly Witheridge to climb to second.
It means they are five points off the table-toppers with both sides having two league games left this season. Tavistock beat Godolphin Atlantic 4-0 to keep their noses in front.
The Ashes triumphed through goals from Sam Stevens, Sam Farrant and, atoning for a penalty miss, Ryan Richards. Non-playing Bodmin Town slipped to third, with three league games left and being six points behind the leaders.
