WHILE most of us kicked off the season on August 5, Solihull Moors and Chester were watching on. Their game at Solihull’s ATG Stadium was postponed the day before the big kick-off for safety reasons.
Jon McCarthy’s Chester and their supporters would have been furious with the timing of the decision. It is not what both teams needed going into the opening day having had three months of preparation and off-season plans to re-build their squads.
